The main character works as an actress, at first her career did not develop much, but after some time, she gradually begins to gain popularity, only now she comes to act more in a semi-naked form. Best friend Anna suggests Beth to go to Big Sur for the weekend to have a great time, relax and forget about the hustle and bustle of the cinematic world. Along the way, all sorts of stories happen to them, which lead them to fairly frank conversations, where they try to lay out their mental problems.

Arriving at the place, the girls go to the bar, where they meet a man. At first, a new acquaintance drew attention to Anna, but then after talking with her, he decided that she was too aggressive towards him and decided to switch to Beth. The latter accepts the courtship, even though she has a boyfriend and agrees to go to lunch with him. So a series of ordinary events begin to unfold, which help the girls to get to know each other better, and then completely turn into a monstrous misunderstanding that can lead to a terrible tragedy.
