The only son of Rita and Lynn Laud, Lincoln, spends a lot of time with his numerous sisters, helping them cope with various tasks. One day, a huge family accidentally found out that it belongs to a noble, ancient Scottish family. Without thinking twice, the family decides to move to the ancestral castle, which is currently under the control of an eternally dissatisfied, pessimistic housekeeper named Morag and gardener Angus.

Gradually getting used to their new, privileged position, relatives immerse themselves in public life, taking part in various social events. They are happy to feel the charms of royal existence, without hesitation using the opportunity presented by fate. While the main characters enjoy the attention to their own personalities, the insidious Morag hatches a plan in her head with which she wants to force the Lauds to leave Loch Laud forever.
